About
We are on a mission to equip women leaders in Snoqualmie Valley with the resources, connections, and skills to thrive and build better workplaces and communities.
We facilitate connection through meet-ups and events, empower one another through teaching and storytelling, and provide support for women who have a passion for learning, growing, and relating with others who share the same vision.
We serve women in the Snoqualmie Valley who are in (or aspire to be in) positions of influence and leadership.

Throughout the year, we offer casual meetups. Hosted at local businesses or community member’s homes, these events offer a low-key way to build deeper community, support each other and grow.
-
Workshops
Offered a few times a year, our workshops tackle relevant topics to help grow your leadership ability. They are designed help you learn new skills in an interactive environment that fosters community - the best way to grow!
-
Volunteer
Sometimes the best way to get connected or grow is to offer up your talents, skills, passion, time and energy to support others and your community. Whether you’re interested in helping behind the scenes or leading an event, there’s plenty of ways to get involved.
Origins
It started with a social media post …
In January 2023, North Bend resident Wendy Parslow, posted on a local facebook group inquiring if there were any women leaders interested in networking. Fifty women eagerly responded within 24 hrs. Within 3 weeks, Snoqualmie Valley Women in Leadership launched with an email list of more than 100 and an inaugural networking event that connected more than fifty women leaders who live in the Snoqualmie Valley.
About Wendy
In 2022, I did a lot of reflecting on the legacy I want to leave in this world. The concept of leadership – in all its forms – quickly rose to the top of those reflections. I decided to set a bold goal for myself - in the next 15 years, I will help one million people become better leaders. Snoqualmie Valley Women in Leadership is an important step in helping to accomplish that goal!
